Located in south central Kentucky, Grazey Acres is one of about 40 farms located on a 2.5 mile road in Holland, Ky.
Years ago this entire hillside was on very large farm, and encompassed several hundred acres. Remnants of the
farms orchards, fields and buildings can still be found on this and surrounding farms. The southern end of the
farm supports a cemetary that has several numbered graves and graves dating into and before the cival war.

Grazey Acres is located on about 25 acres of one of the hillsides. Our current house was initially built in the early 60's
and farmed until the mid seventies. The barn is dated to the early 50's (and looks like it!)

Purchased in late 2001, we have spent most of our time and monies rebuilding the house and regaining the fields.
With the help of some tenacious Pygmy and Nubian goats, a few head of sheep and a cow, we have reclaimed about
nine acres of pasture land and are currently working on the remainder.

Remember and enjoy the past but build for the future!
