NCTC One of First to be Nationally Gig Certified
NCTC is one of the first cooperatives to achieve national status by bringing Gigabit Speeds to a rural community. The speed, capacity and total reliability of Gigabit Services via Fiber Optic technology are the answer for today’s digital family and community, and we are proud to bring it to our customers. NCTC was recognized by NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association for building a network capable of delivering Internet speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second, which is 100 times faster than those currently available in many U.S. households. To achieve this certification, NCTC had to show that gigabit technology is available within 95% of one or more exchanges within its service area. NCTC has 100% availability in multiple exchanges. We continue to build our fiber network throughout the community.
